Directed by Antoine Fuqua of "The Equalizer" and "The Magnificent Seven", the film is a brilliantly directed battle on an epic scale! Mark Wahlberg gives a strong performance as the protagonist who realizes that he has been reincarnated many times and awakens to his mission to save the world by recovering his memories of his previous life. This is his first collaboration with director Fuqua since "The Shooter"! --Evan McCauley has been plagued by nightmarish memories he cannot remember and an unstable mental state since he was a teenager. Somehow, he has acquired the ability to cast Japanese swords and relies on drugs obtained from shady people. One day, a man from an organization calling itself Infinite appears before him and tells him a startling truth. He is told that there are people who have a special ability to repeat reincarnation while retaining their memories over the centuries, and that he is one of them. The key to protecting the world from the Nihilists, who have the same ability but plot to destroy life, lies in Evan's memories of his previous life.
