Description

[Machine Translation] [Happy the Best!"] A beautiful nun endures torment without reason. A nun's tale" of sensuality and humiliation based on a collection of real-life love letters. --Maria, a village girl as pretty as a lily of the valley. When Vincent, a priest, accuses her of playing with a childhood friend in the woods, which is neither love nor play, her mother, worried about her daughter's future, entrusts her to the priest. She is brought to the abbey of Cerede Iris, where Mother Alma, the abbess, proves that she is a virgin. However, from that day on, Maria is subjected to a series of punishments that she does not remember. The convent is in fact a den of devil worship. A hawthorn branch is pressed against her white skin, and a black mass is held in which she is bound to Satan. In despair, she writes a letter to God from the window of the tower where she is imprisoned, telling the truth. Prince Manuel finds the letter in the forest by chance. Believing in the letter, he rushes to his horse.
