2018年10月に放送され好評を博した『SSSS.GRIDMAN』のBlu-ray BOXがスペシャルプライスで登場! 1993年から放送されたTVシリーズ「電光超人グリッドマン」。まだパソコンが一般家庭に普及する前に制作された作品にも関わらず、現代における「インターネット」「コンピューターウイルス」といった概念を先取りした内容で人気を集めた。そして2018年秋『SSSS.GRIDMAN』が放送決定! アニメーション制作は、2015年日本アニメ(ーター)見本市で公開された「電光超人グリッドマン boys invent great hero」を制作したTRIGGERが担当。監督は、同作でも監督を務めた雨宮哲。あの時の未来が現実になった2018年、グリッドマンがアニメーションの世界で蘇る。 ――ツツジ台に住む高校1年生の響裕太は、ある日目覚めると記憶喪失になっていた。そして裕太は古いパソコンに映る『ハイパーエージェント・グリッドマン』と出会う。グリッドマンは使命を果たせと語りかけ、裕太はその言葉の意味と記憶を探し始める。突然の事に戸惑いつつも、クラスメイトの内海将や宝多六花、新条アカネたちに助けられながら毎日を送る裕太だった。が、その平穏な日々は、突然現れた怪獣によって容易く踏みつぶされた――。 グリッドマンデザイン後藤正行描きおろしジャケット仕様。
