高校教師を辞め、長野県上田市に「認定NPO法人 侍学園スクオーラ・今人」を開校させるまでを描いた長岡秀貴の自伝を実写映画化! 全編、長野県上田市で撮影! 実際に主人公が作ったバーでの撮影や、上田市のあるあるが随所にちりばめられた"上田愛"が詰まった作品。主演は、三浦貴大。松岡茉優、加治将樹、柾木玲弥、山本涼介といった注目の俳優陣が出演! その他、きたろう、大杉漣、田中要次、マキタスポーツといったベテラン俳優も出演! 監督は、プロデューサーとして『シムソンズ』『しあわせのパン』『コドモ警察』等のヒット作品のプロデューサーを務めた森谷雄が初監督! ――27歳、元高校教師。貯金は725円。自らの半身不随と恩師の死、そして周囲の反対を乗り越えて、ナガオカは教師になった。そして5年後、長年の夢「学校をつくること」を叶えるために高校教師を辞め、学校設立のための資金集めを始める。まず最初の目標は、資金725円からのショットバーの開業。頼れるのは自分の力しかない。そんなナガオカの噂を聞きつけ、彼の下に集ったのは、元教え子の4人の若者。働きながらも、自分を発揮できないケンジとユミ、大学受験に失敗したタカシ、そして、旅をしながら自分の居場所を探し続けるダイスケ。ナガオカが作ったショットバーは社会をさまよっていた4人の若者の居場所となり、4人が居る場所はまた、ナガオカの居場所にもなっていた。そして、更なる資金調達のため、ナガオカの自伝本の自費出版を目指す。4人の若者たちにとって、ナガオカの夢はいつしか自分たちの夢となっていた。一方で、ナガオカは様々な事情から学校に通えない子どもたちや引きこもりの若者と出会う。子どもたちと向き合う中で、自分が目指す学校ができるのか―悩むナガオカ。時に衝突し、時に励まし合い、「学校をつくる」という夢を追い続けるナガオカと4人の仲間たち。学校開校に向け、本気で挑戦した彼らの物語が、今始まる――。 オリジナルブックレット、長野県上田市ロケーションマップ封入。
