シティポップ作品から歌謡曲まで、さまざまな楽曲に彩りをくわえた伝説的なギタリスト・松原正樹が、1983年にキャニオン/AGHARTAレーベルよりリリースされたソロ・アルバム『SNIPER』と『Painted Woman』の2タイトルをアナログ盤＜LIMITED EDITION PURE VIRGIN VINYL＞で発売されることが決定。松原は、松任谷由実、山下達郎、角松敏生等のシンガーソングライターから、松原みき、松田聖子、中森明菜、小泉今日子、光GENJI等をはじめ昭和日本のアーティスト殆どの作品に関わってきたと言っても過言ではなく、レコーディングに参加した楽曲は優に1万曲を超えている。スタジオ・ワークのみならず80年代以降のフュージョン・シーンを支えたパラシュートのメンバーとしても活動。2016年に十二指腸がんのため惜しまれつつもこの世を去った。生前に本人が監修したデジタル・リマスタリング音源を使用予定、約40年ぶりにカラー・レコードで蘇る! 仕様はLIMITED EDITION/30cmアナログ盤LP/PURE VIRGIN VINYL/OBI付。『SNIPER』には、ジェファーソン・スターシップの1978年ヒット作や、日本でもヒットしたマーティ・バリンの「Hearts (ハート悲しく)」の作曲者としても知られる、AOR人気シンガー・ジェシ・バリッシュがヴォーカルで参加している。シティポップ・クラシックスとしてレコードガイドブックの評価も高い。MIXER'S LABの北村勝敏氏によるカッティング。参加ミュージシャン: ジェシ・バリッシュ (vo)、山木秀夫 (ds)、島村英二 (ds)、美久月千晴 (b)、佐藤準 (key)、斉藤ノブ (per)、ジェイク・H・コンセプション (sax) ※本商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
