[Machine Translation] Acidclank, a solo project by Yota Mori, who has garnered attention for his outstanding live performances and melodic music based on Madchester Techno, has released a long-awaited new album. This conceptual album is based on the theme of "reliving a trance-like state" and expresses an experience of "melting boundaries" between oneself and one's surroundings. In the first half of the album, repetitive and melodic soundscapes woven with minimal phrases of gamelan and synths lead the listener into a deep meditative state. As the album progresses into the second half, further song development awaits through a variety of approaches such as drum'n'bass and dream pop, inviting the listener into an even deeper spiritual abyss. Incorporating elements from a wide range of genres from folk music, psychedelic trance, minimal techno, electro, and dream pop, this is an experimental work that crystallizes Acidclank's musical challenges. The album artwork was also created by Yota Mori himself, creating a worldview where music and visuals become one.
