その耽美な世界観で国内外を問わず多くのファンを魅了し続けるシンガー・佐井好子。1979年に活動を休止後、2008年にアルバム『タクラマカン』で音楽界に復帰するが、ライブ活動は再開しなかった。その後、2014年と2015年に都内で各1回ずつのライブを行っているが、この2014年のライブ音源は渋谷マウントレーニアホールで開催されたイベント『第弐回真夜中のヘヴィロックパーティー』に出演時の録音である。当日はJOJO広重、HAJIMETARL、岡野太など現役のオルタナティブなミュージシャンがバックを務め、まさに奇跡の復活、感動のライブとなった。初CD化。
