今作は2月15日にリリースした61st シングル「HC 2023 episode 1 -THE GHOST/ 限界突破-」の続編となるEPとなっており、11月から全国6ヶ所全13公演で行われるアリーナツアーに向けてライブ前の盛り上げともなるようなパッケージ。収録曲は、TAKURO (Gt.)作詞作曲による、GLAYの長きに渡るバンド活動の中で出会い共にここまで歩んできた『相棒』をテーマにした楽曲「Buddy」や、HISASHI (Gt.)がモバイルゲームアプリ『ブラッククローバーモバイル魔法帝への道 The Opening of Fate』のために書き下ろした楽曲「Pianista」を含む、コロナ禍に生み出された楽曲 (トラック)たち全7曲を収録!
