ヒグチアイは、平成元年生まれのシンガーソングライター。2歳のころからクラシックピアノを習い、その後ヴァイオリン・合唱・声楽・ドラム・ギターなどを経験、様々な音楽に触れ、18歳より鍵盤弾き語りをメインとして活動を開始。これまでに培った演奏力と、本質的な音楽性の高さが業界内外から高い評価を受け、「FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL」「RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL」など大型フェスへの出演も果たす。叱咤激励にも似たその歌声は、老若男女問わずじわじわと中毒者を増やし続けている。今作『最悪最愛』は、ヒグチアイ4枚目のオリジナルアルバム。またポニーキャニオン移籍後初のアルバムリリースとなる。NHK総合TVアニメ『進撃の巨人』The Final Season Part2 エンディングテーマ「悪魔の子」、2021年4月より放送・テレビ東京系ドラマ24『生きるとか死ぬとか父親とか』エンディングテーマ「縁」など全11曲を収録。
