Description

DVD release of theatrical anime "Bungaku Shojo (A Literary Girl)" based on hit light novel series by Mizuki Nomura and produced by Production IG. The story is in the motif of Japanese classic novel "Night on the Galactic Railroad (Ginga Tetsudo no Yoru)" written by Kenji Miyazawa. Set in a high school and its literary club. Konoha Inoue, a second-year high school boy who suffers a trauma is one day, partly forced to sign up to join the literary club by the club president Toko Amano. Toko Amano is a high school senior and actually a specter that eats stories. So Konoha writes stories every day for Amano to eat. The two have peaceful everyday life, however origin of his trauma, a girl Miu Asakura appears in fron of him. . .

超人気ライトノベルをProduction I.Gがアニメ化!! 劇場版"文学少女"のDVD!! 宮沢賢治の「銀河鉄道の夜」をモチーフにした「"文学少女"と慟哭の巡礼者(バルミエーレ)」が劇場版のベースとなっている。透明感あふれる映像と心揺さぶるストーリーに絶賛の嵐! ――過去に経験した事件の痛手からトラウマを抱えた高校生、井上心葉。そんな心葉を半ば無理やり文芸部に入部させ、毎日彼に「三題噺」を書くことを要求する部長の天野遠子。天衣無縫で明るい性格の遠子に振り回されながらも、その明るさ、強引さにだんだんと癒されていく心葉。二人の明るくも穏やかな日常が2年近く続いたある日、心葉はトラウマの原因となった少女・朝倉美羽と再会し、心葉の想いとは裏腹に物語りは急転直下に展開し始める・・・。 アニメ描き下ろしジャケット仕様。
