父の遺言は、目玉焼きでした。 染谷将太×戸田恵梨香×窪塚洋介×斉藤由貴×永瀬正敏。『HANA-BI』(98)の撮影・山本英夫らベテラン映画陣がバックアップ。監督と脚本を手掛けるのは、サザンオールスターズのドキュメンタリー映画をはじめとし、コマーシャル、ミュージックビデオなど様々な分野で高く評価される常盤司郎監督。短編映画でも国際的な評価を受けてきた常盤監督が、構想7年の渾身の脚本で本作で満を持しての長編映画デビューを飾る。もう一度"家族になる瞬間"を、通夜から葬式にかけてたった1日で物語を紡いた構成力には、新たな才能の登場を感じずにはいられない。終活、生き方への注目が集まる中、新たな＜おみおくりの物語＞が誕生した。 ――忘れられない味で僕らはもう一度、家族になった。カメラマン東麟太郎(染谷将太)は父・日登志(永瀬正敏)の葬儀のために故郷へ帰ってきた。姉の美也子(戸田恵梨香)と準備をする中、母・アキコ(斉藤由貴)が、通夜ぶるまいは自分で作ると言い出した。やがて運ばれてきたのは、目玉焼き。親戚たちがざわつく中、麟太郎は気がつく。「これ、親父が初めて作ってくれた料理です」なつかしい手料理を食べるたび、思い出が麟太郎たちの脳裏によみがえってくる。20年前に父と母が再婚した日、連れ子の兄シュン(窪塚洋介)と5人で暮らした日々のこと・・・。止まっていた家族の時が今、ゆっくりと動き出す。 特典ディスクには、メイキング(約46分)、完成披露上映会(約14分)、公開記念舞台挨拶(約19分)、予告編(約2分)を収録。
