Jung Yi, The Goddess of Fire DVD Box Vol.1

[Machine Translation] This is the first chapter of the DVD-BOX of the dramatic historical drama "Jung Yi, Goddess of Fire", which depicts the checkered (female) success story of the first female court potter in Joseon Dynasty in the 16th century, and her pure and sad love story with a prince. Following the court occupations such as "Suisikkang" in "Dae Jang Geum", "Palgakwon" in "Dong Yi", and "Naeshoin" in "Ho Jun", this is the first film based on a royal pottery factory, "Punong". The cast includes Moon Geun-young, Lee Sang-yun, Kim Beom, Park Geon-young, Jung Kwang-ryeol, Jung Bo-seok, and an all-star cast of "Hallyu" actors! --The late 16th century, during the reign of King Seonjo, the 14th king of Joseon. Sagijang (earthenware artisans) Lee Gang-cheon and Yoo Wool-tam compete for the position of Nan-chung, the highest official position at the pottery and porcelain factory Pungnong. King Seonjo is pleased with the tea utensils made by the two, but Ul-tam falls for the schemes of In-bin Kim and Gang-cheon, and is expelled from the branch office for a crime he did not commit. At the same time, Yeonok, an assistant to a sakki master, gave birth to a baby girl in a kiln at the branch temple. He entrusts his daughter to his master, Wool Tam, and passes away. The baby, named Jung by Wool Tam, grows up to be a tomboyish girl who is more interested in hunting and archery than pottery. One day, Jung has a fateful encounter with Gwanghae-gun in the mountains, and she feels a surge of excitement that she has never felt before. Ul-tam gets a chance to return to the branch hospital, but is assassinated by an assassin sent by Gang-cheon. Jung, who is hurt by the sudden loss of his father, overhears Gang-chon's insult to Wooltam and decides to avenge his father's death by becoming a sakji (a master sakji). Five years later... To become the best sakji master in Joseon, Jung changed his name to Tae-pyeong, and by chance, he meets Gwanghae-gun again... Includes episodes 1-8 of the original Korean version.
