DVD BOX-2は、1985年に放送された「プロゴルファー猿」スペシャル1話と、1986～8年に放送された「プロゴルファー猿」70話と、1988年に放送された「新・プロゴルファー猿」10話をDVD10枚に収録。 手作りの木製ドライバーを手に、ゴルフ場に現れては練習中の素人と賭けゴルフを競う、猿そっくりの野生児「猿丸」は、母親と兄弟5人で田舎暮らしをしながら、ゴルフ場に忍び込む毎日を過ごしていた。しかしある時、猿丸のゴルフの実力に惚れ込んだ、影のゴルフ界を仕切るミスターXが猿丸を自分の配下に加えるべく、個性的な刺客たちを差し向けて勝負を挑んでくる。猿丸は、自然の中で培ってきた勘と、戦いの中で生まれた数々の必殺技、さらには強運も味方に、次々と現れる影のプロゴルファーやライバルたちと激闘を繰り広げていく。 特製ブックレット封入予定。
