大人って、淋しすぎると笑っちゃう。 脚本・岡田惠和、小泉今日子&中井貴一のW主演でおくる"大人の青春ドラマ"『最後から二番目の恋』がDVD-BOXで登場! 45歳独身のテレビ局ドラマプロデューサー・吉野千明 (小泉今日子)。恋愛というよりは健康や老後など将来への不安を感じる年齢・・・。仕事と家庭の両立という入社当時に描いた未来と全く違う現在の自分・・・。ここでゆっくりとした時間を過ごしたら何かが変わるの・・・? 千明は老後のためにも、いま流行の友だちと古民家を借りて住むのも良いかも、と軽い気持ちで鎌倉まで下見に行く。そんな時、千明は鎌倉で市役所勤めをしている50歳の独身男性・長倉和平 (中井貴一)と出会う。和平は妻と死別した寂しい子持ち男だった。古都・鎌倉を舞台に、こうして明るくも切ない大人の青春ドラマが幕をあける。果たして、さまざまな経験を重ねてきた"大人"の恋の結末は? そんなふたりの恋をかき回すのは、和平の家族たち。自由奔放にしてどこか薄幸のイケメン弟・長倉真平 (坂口憲ニ)は、千明を口説き三角関係に。さらに、家庭崩壊寸前の口うるさい妹・水谷 (旧姓・長倉)典子 (飯島直子)は同世代として千明をやっかみ、世間とうまく調和が図れない危ういもうひとりの妹・長倉万理子 (内田有紀)は彼女の内面をえぐり・・・。こうした個性的な面々との関わりの中、千明と和平はさまざまな壁にぶつかりながらも、本当のしあわせをつかもうとした――。 全11話収録。
