第18回東京国際映画祭で上映されて話題となり、2006年秋、シネスイッチ銀座をはじめ、全国公開される映画『そうかもしれない』のエンディング・テーマ曲のCD化。映画は、私小説作家・耕治人の晩年の作品群が原作。認知症を病み、徐々に「彼女が彼女でなくなっていく」ような妻の介護をしながら自らも口腔癌と闘病する主人公の生活を淡々と、彼らしい"虚飾の極端にない独特の視点"で描いた名作。今回、この曲を歌うのは、日本で生まれ育ち、現在はフィリピンをはじめ東南アジア各国でアクションスターとして大旋風を巻き起こしている、ジャッキー・ウー。フィリピンでは歌手として「ゴールド・ディスク」も受賞している彼の、初の日本盤CD。
