[Machine Translation] J. Maskis completes his long-awaited new album! Featuring a band-led sound with guest musicians, this is his fourth solo album in five years. This album began to come together during the waning days of Pandemic, and utilizing his studio, Bisquiteen, he began writing a series of songs on acoustic guitar that have a different dynamic than those he wrote for Dinosaur Jr. This time around, two guest musicians joined the band. Ken Mauri from western Massachusetts (a member of the B52s) plays piano on several tracks. The other is Canadian psychedelic/folk/experimental musician Matthew "Doc" Dunn, who met Dunn through Matt Valentine. This album has the finest set of solo songs J has ever written, and the way they are presented is perfect. You can be sure that these songs would sound great solo or acoustic, but the arrangements on the album are truly amazing and add a cool and different element to Mascis' instantly recognizable approach to sound production.
