Taikyo

A solo project osterreich by Kunimitsu Takahashi of the cabs, who began composing by providing the opening theme "Munou" for the anime "Tokyo Ghoul The square root of A" and also started live activities in 2019. After continuing his energetic activities, he finally releases his first mini album in about 4.5 years, "Taikyo". The album features recordings by familiar live members Ai Kamano, Mizuki Iida (cinema staff), Sohei Mishima (cinema staff), GOTO, Akinori Yamamoto (LITE), Wataru Sato (Gecko&Tokage Parade), Mei Konno, and An Suhara. Centered on songs already performed live, it includes a total of six tracks, featuring Mizuki Iida's expansive and powerful vocals and including the completely unreleased new song "still sane", composed with a heavy sense of rhythm and transparent melodies, making it an ambitious work that encompasses both the past and future of osterreich. The jacket artwork uses "Matataki #12" by up-and-coming photographer Fukami Ohno, who is from the same hometown as Takahashi.

アニメ「東京喰種トーキョーグール√A」のOP曲「無能」の提供から作曲活動を開始し、2019年よりライブ活動も開始したthe cabsの高橋國光によるソロプロジェクトosterreich。精力的な活動を続ける彼がついに約4年半ぶりのミニアルバム"胎教"をリリースする。今回のアルバムには、お馴染みのライブメンバーである鎌野愛、飯田瑞規 (cinema staff)、三島想平 (cinema staff)、GOTO、山本晃紀 (LITE)、佐藤航 (Gecko&Tokage Parade)、紺野メイ、須原杏が録音で参加。すでにライブで披露されている楽曲を中心に、飯田瑞規の伸びやかでパワフルなボーカルをフィーチャーし、重厚なリズム感と透明感のある旋律で構成された完全未発表の新曲「still sane」を含む全6曲を収録しており、osterreichのこれまでとこれからを内包した意欲的な作品となっている。またジャケットには國光と同郷の気鋭の写真家大野深美による作品「瞬き #12」を起用している。
