Description

Loosely based on Poul Anderson's classic science fiction book, 'The High Crusade' was produced by Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Patriot). It's a comedy-oriented adaptation (with an obvious influence from 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail') starring actor/comedian Rick Overton as Sir Roger, and John Rhys-Davies ('Raiders of the Lost Ark') as Brother Parvus who find themselves in possession of an alien spaceship and means to conquer a land... or an entire alien planet! It comes with a box that can house 4 movies of the same B.Q.S.F. series, including this one. The box art is ilustrated by Mr. Komatsuzaki, a well respected sci-fi illustrator who did covers for 'Thuderbirds' plastic model kits among other things. It also comes with a plastic model of a toy spaceship.
