The Final Girls

[Machine Translation] Max (Taissa Farmiga), whose mother Amanda (Marin Ackerman), a famous horror film actress, dies in a car accident. 3 years later, Max is recovering from a heartbreak and invites her friends to watch an 80's horror movie in which her mother had starred. Suddenly, however, a fire breaks out in the theater. Panicking and running for her life, she finds herself in the middle of the story. Although he was bewildered by the impossible events, such as the scene at the beginning of the movie happening right in front of him and meeting Kurt and his friends, who were supposed to be characters in the movie, Max could not stop crying tears of joy when he met his mother, who was playing the role of Nancy. But of course, Billy, the murderer, also appeared, and one after another, he was killed according to the scenario.... My mother's life is in danger! Will the story change with the addition of Max and his friends ? Or will the story end as the scenario goes... ?

── 有名なホラー映画女優だった母・アマンダ (マリン・アッカーマン)を交通事故で亡くしたマックス (タイッサ・ファーミガ)。3年後、失意の底から立ち直った彼女は、友人たちに誘われ、母が出演していた80'sホラー映画を鑑賞することに。ところが突然、映画館で火災が発生。パニックになって逃げ惑う中、気が付くと、物語の中に入り込んでしまう。冒頭シーンが目の前で起こったり、映画の登場人物のはずのカートたちに会ったりとありえない出来事に戸惑いながらも、ナンシー役を演じている母にも会え、マックスは喜びの涙が止まらなかった。だが、当然、殺人鬼ビリーも出現し、次々とシナリオ通りに殺されていく・・・。母の命が危ない!!マックスたちが加わったことで、ストーリーは変わるのか ?! それともシナリオ通りに終わってしまうのか・・・ ?!
