Description

What a bunch of nobodies taught me. A mysterious coming-of-age story shot entirely on location in Hiroshima. This film is set in Hiroshima Prefecture. In a modern society that can even feel hard to live in, what do people worry about, what makes them feel empty, and can those worries and that emptiness be resolved? By getting to know others, we come to know ourselves, and by gaining new values, we can even accept such worries and emptiness. This is a story of the kind of growth many people experience, depicted entirely through location shooting in Hiroshima together with a cast and staff full of potential. A work by director Kentaro Yamagishi, a talent recognized even by Mamoru Oshii. The director is Kentaro Yamagishi, who has handled talked-about works such as "Misoji Onna wa Romantic na Yume wo Miru ka?" and "Deep Logic", provided the original concept for Mamoru Oshii's film "Tokyo Mukokuseki Shojo", and served as director of the popular YouTube channel "3-nin Kanjo", continuing to display his creative talent across many fields. The screenplay is by Sakiko Yae of the NHK Saturday drama "3000-man". A gorgeous cast appearing in talked-about works comes together. Yumi Endo of "Joshikosei ni Korosaretai" and "Rinjin X -Giwaku no Kanojo-" plays Sueko, a freelancer working part-time at an izakaya. On Nakano of the NHK drama "Sora Wataru Kyoshitsu" and "BLUE FIGHT -Aoki Wakamono-tachi no Breaking Down-" plays the influencer Sakuto, who has outstanding communication skills. In addition, a gorgeous cast colors the story, including Konoha Tsukamoto, currently appearing as a Degawa Girl on "Sekai no Hate made Itte Q!", and Chizuru Azuma of "Mazekoze Ichiza Satsujin Jiken"! -- Sueko Sugiyama (37), a freelancer working part-time at a run-down izakaya called "Mamesuke" in Hiroshima, leads an unremarkable life with neither dreams nor a lover. Her only way to relieve stress is grumbling to herself about others and the world, and she spends her boring days thinking that her life probably will not hold much good. Sakuto Yamane (24), who appears before Sueko as a new part-timer, is an influencer with outstanding communication skills while attending Hiroshima University. Good-looking and, unlike Sueko, cheerful, he seems fulfilled at a glance, but in his halfhearted dating and his bravado-filled daily life he also feels a certain emptiness. Sueko and Sakuto, who meet at "Mamesuke", are completely different types in personality and way of thinking. They become antagonistic from the very first day they meet, but the two happen to witness a scene where a group of elderly people in wheelchairs is lynching a young man. As the two, not knowing what to do, can only run away, a mysterious girl named Ako (18) appears before them. The bonus footage (subject to change) includes the theatrical trailer, stage greetings, and interviews.
