1980年代初頭の大阪を中心に活動、81年自主リリースされた7"Flexiをはじめ貴重未発表音源を収めた再発盤『傀儡電伝』CD/LPが2017年にリリースされ再評価高まる日本カルト・シンセパンク/ニューウェーブ、DENDO MARIONETTE。その『傀儡電伝』リリース後、メンバー関係者のもとで当時録音されていた別の音源が新たに数種類発見され、80/81年の宅録音源 (8曲)、80年のデビューライブ (1曲)、81年伝説のマントヒヒでのライブ (6曲)をまとめたプロコピーTAPEを限定で発売し即完売の『傀儡外伝』がこの度ジャケットを一新しNightGalleryより再リリース! おそらくメンバーの自宅にて録音されていたと思しきSide Aのトラックは、インストナンバーと、その後の7"Flexiのプロトタイプといえそうなボーカル入りの楽曲が半々ほどの割合で収録された8曲。そして1981年12月11日、天王寺マントヒヒのライブではバンドとパンクスとの掛け合いから流れ込む代表曲FROZEN EDGE他、荒々しく生々しく切り取られたライブドキュメント6曲。また80年10月30日、GARSONでのデビューライブも1曲収録した全15トラック66分。紙ジャケット仕様。
