I'm disappointed. I bought this brush for powder foundation. It does not give a smooth application. Even if I use a very light hand, the application is uneven, and forget buffing! But also, it sheds constantly. Far more than just a few hairs. I washed it when it came, and it lost no hairs during the wash, but every time I use it, I get many many hairs on my face. I hope it will stop shedding soon, but even then I don't know what I will use it for.

I have both this and the regular series B-FD-01 Foundation brush in my collection and aside from hair type both brushes are the same in size, shape and density. It is targeted for powder foundation due to the Tea dyed goat hair so if you are looking for a liquid foundation brush I recommend the original one with undyed Saikoho which is stunning and quite the work of art. The Cheri Series brush is wonderfully soft and fluffy. It's quite dense but still has enough flexibility to use for bronzer or blush. It feels just as soft as Saikoho and has no sharp or pokey hairs. Unless you have the most sensitive skin out there you will not have any issues. While the price is quite a bit lower on this brush they didn't skimp on quality. I have had zero shedding issues. In fact I don't think I have lost a hair out of it. I have purchased many brushes made by Bisyodo and while the Cheri series can be hit or miss this one is a stand out and well worth the buy. The eye brushes on the other hand from this series are total junk and not worth even the low price point offered.
