When this arrived I must admit I was very disappointed. It’s not the most attractive brush out there. In all honesty it’s one of the ugliest ones I own. The white handle is wood but that’s the only good thing. The brands name Bisyodo is written out on the handle along with the name of the brush in what appears to be an even less attractive sticker? Like an actual sticker. Yuck. The ferrule is a matte silver but feels quite cheap. The hair used is Saikoho with an Oval shaped ferrule which is why I purchased it but upon first inspection seemed quite whispy and size wise not what I consider a powder brush. More of a large cheek brush. That being said this went to the place where brushes go to die until a few months ago when I decided to give it another chance and boy am I glad I did! This brush really shines after a few washes. It fluffs up wonderfully after that and is a dream to use with bronzer. I also like to use it for finishing powder as well. It’s a workhorse of a blending brush. It’s a shame this brush head isn’t offered on the regular series of brushes because I would snatch it up regardless of price. This has quickly become one of my most used brushes in the last few months and visual disappointment aside is worth having.

I had to write a review after reading the other one left. This is honestly the softest goat brush I own out of the hundreds of fude I have. I don’t know if the other person got a defect or if I just got lucky, but this brush feels like saibikoho hair to me. It’s wonderfully soft.
I bought the whole Alba series when CdJapan had the 20% bonus point. I already had the pink foundation brush, also made of saikoho, which I love. But the hair used for this series it's completely different. It's dry and prickly, doesn't seem like saikoho at all.
