I had never had Hojicha before this, so I admit that I can't really comment on the quality specific to this tea type... but I know that I enjoy it! It has lovely large leaf pieces, and has a smell that reminds you of fall. It is a toasted tea and has a flavor that reflects that. It comes in a very large bag, but for the price it's worth trying even if you don't like the almost charred taste. It isn't quite like a black tea you might be familiar with like English, Assam, or Ceylon. Brew this at a high temperature, almost boiling or boiling water is recommended.
