[Machine Translation] The UK metalcore band "Architects" released their sixth album on the Epitaph label. Architects is one of the leading metalcore bands in the UK along with Bring Me The Horizon. This is their sixth album in their 10-year career, and the first to be released on the Epitaph label. It is sure to overwhelm even existing fans. Lyrically, the album deals with serious themes such as the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident and Tom's (g, key, songwriter) battle with cancer. Like their previous album "Daybreaker" (2012), the recording took place in a truly stoic environment at Studio Fredman in Sweden (in the middle of winter, when the sun rarely comes up! ), with Fredrik Nordstrom and Henrik Wood (both of Bring Me the Horizon) as producers. Throughout, the tight, yet melancholic and ambient elements of the music are lyrical and showcase the depth of Architects' talent.

UKメタルコアの雄“アーキテクツ”エピタフ・レーベル移籍第一弾となる、6枚目のアルバム! アーキテクツは、ブリング・ミー・ザ・ホライズンと並ぶUKを代表するメタルコア・バンド。キャリア10年にして6作目となる今作は、エピタフ・レーベルへの移籍第一弾であり、メンバー自身も“バンド史上最もタイトにコントロールされたアルバム”と太鼓判を押す入魂の一枚で、これまでのファンも圧倒されること間違いない。リリックの上では、福島第一原発の事故、またバンドの中核を担うトム (g, key, songwriter)のガンとの闘病などシリアスなテーマを扱いながら、光と影のコントラストを大きく打ち出している。前作『Daybreaker』(2012年)と同様に、レコーディングはスウェーデンのスタジオ・フレッドマンという実にストイックな環境で行われ (真冬の、ほとんど陽が上がることはない!)、プロデューサーにフレデリック・ノードストロームとヘンリック・ウッド (いずれもブリングミー・ザ・ホライズン他)を迎えている。全体を通して、タイトな中にも哀愁やアンビエントな要素を取り入れた緩急は抒情的でもあり、アーキテクツの懐の深さを垣間見させる。
