SCARS & STORIES [Import Disc]

[Machine Translation] The Fray's third album in three years. The Fray is a four-piece piano rock band formed in 2002 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. Their debut album "How to Save a Life: Prescription for Your Heart" went double platinum in the U.S. in 2005, and their second album "The Fray" (the theme song for the U.S. drama "Lost (Season 5)") went platinum in 2009. Their second album "The Fray" (which includes the theme song "You Found Me" from the U.S. TV drama "Lost (Season 5)") debuted at No. 1 in the U.S. in 2009! Their 3rd album in 3 years, which has been nominated for a Grammy Award for both their 1st and 2nd albums, is finally completed! The gentle and powerful voice of Isaac (vo, piano), a rare melody-maker, and the beautiful melodies of the piano have reached a higher level. This album is more emotional than their previous works. We have no idea where we're going or what we're going to do," says Isaacs. It's both confusing and exciting to go from playing shows outside of Denver to now playing in Singapore. The band's readiness to embrace both beauty and terror is a testament to the band's remarkable rise to fame. According to Isaacs, the process of making Scars & Stories marked the biggest evolution in the band's history, both lyrically and musically. With the first album, we weren't sure of ourselves yet," Isaacs said, "and with the second album we felt a little more comfortable, but we still couldn't fully deliver. But this time, we just went out there and swung the bat as hard as we could. With these things in mind, it is no wonder that "Scars & Stories" is even more haunting and intense than the previous two albums. The irreplaceable sound of the piano envelops you once again.
