POLYTHENE (2026 REMASTER) [Imported]

[Machine Translation] Even now, 30 years after its release, *Polythene* continues to shine as the debut album with a sharp, straightforward appeal that established Feeder as a leading band in the British alternative rock scene. By fusing a sharp, heavy guitar sound reminiscent of grunge and post-grunge with Grant Nicholas s signature catchy and melodic songwriting, the album left a vivid impression of the band s origins. It received high praise upon its release and was named the No. 1 Album of the Year for 1997 by *Metal Hammer*. It later earned a gold certification and is now regarded not only as a key work in Feeder s career but also as one of the defining albums of 1990s UK alternative rock. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of its release, it is being reissued as an anniversary edition featuring a single LP on colored vinyl and a 2CD set. The 2CD version includes the original album as well as the rare 1996 mini-album *Swim*. *Swim* was reissued in 2001 as a special full-length release and vividly captures Feeder s early sound and songwriting. The inclusion of *Swim* provides a deeper insight into the band s musical style at the time *Polythene* was created, making this 2CD 30th-anniversary edition the most comprehensive way to enjoy *Polythene* to date. *Polythene*, which features the hit singles High" and My Perfect Day," is one of the most important albums in the history of 1990s British alternative rock.

Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
