[Machine Translation] RokFlote" is the new studio album by Jethro Tull, one of the leading figures in the British progressive rock scene. This is their 23rd studio album, released only one year and three months after their last album. Following their first album in 18 years, "The Zealot Gene" released in January 2022, the band led by Ian Anderson returns to the scene with a 12-song album. The album is based on the characters and roles of the major deities in the ancient Scandinavian polytheistic faith, while at the same time exploring the world of the "rock flute" (rock flute) made iconic by Jethro Tull. The music video for the album's first single, "Ginnungagap," is a stunning animated video for "Ginnungagap" (produced by Costin Chioreanu). 英国プログレッシヴ・ロック界の重鎮ジェスロ・タルの新作スタジオ・アルバム『RokFlote』(ロック・フルーテ)。本作は彼らにとって23作目となるスタジオ・アルバムで、前作から僅か1年3ヵ月でのリリースとなる。約18年ぶりのアルバムとなった2022年1月リリースの前作『ザ・ゼロット・ジーン(The Zealot Gene)』に続き、イアン・アンダーソン率いるこのバンドが、12曲入りのアルバムを引っ提げてシーンに戻ってくる。内容は古代スカンジナビアの多神教信仰における主要神のキャラクターや役割に基づいていると同時に、ジェスロ・タルによって象徴的な存在になった「ロック・フルーテ」(ロック・フルート)の世界を探求している。アルバムのファースト・シングル「ギンヌンガガプ」のミュージック・ビデオは「ギンヌンガガプ(Ginnungagap)」の見事なアニメーション・ビデオ(コスティン・チオレアヌ[Costin Chioreanu]制作)に仕上がっている。この曲は神ユミル(Ymir)にインスピレーションを得ており、人間の原型である原始人の彼は、エーリヴァーガル(Elivagar)と呼ばれる氷で覆われた川から滴る毒液から生まれ、ギンヌンガガプという不毛の地に棲んでいたという。 ※本商品は金曜販売開始商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
