2008年の『百福』(原題: Momofuku)以来、エルヴィス・コステロ&ジ・インポスターズ名義としては10年振り、コステロとしても2013年のRootsとの『Wise Up Ghost』以来5年ぶりの新作。コステロならでのメロディーにあふれ、中にはオーケストレーションも入ったシンプルなロックンロール回帰作。ほとんどの曲はコステロの書き下ろしだが、“Don't Look Now”と“Photographs Can Lie”はバート・バカラックとの共作 (ピアノも弾いている)、キャロル・キングとの共作も1曲“Burnt Sugar Is So Bitter”を収録。
