[Machine Translation] This is the latest and last album by the founder and legend of rock and roll, Chuck Berry, after a 40-year absence. The album features 10 of Chuck's last new songs, including "Big Boys," the first single with Tom Morello, and "Lady B. Goode," the sequel to the legendary "Johnny B. Goode" and featuring three generations of Berry family guitarists! Of the 10 new songs, 8 were written by Berry and the remaining 2 are covers of old standards. Produced by Berry himself. Some of the songs on the album date back to the 1980s. Berry spent years developing them in his home studio in St. Louis in his spare time between tours. He worked on the album in earnest throughout the year until 2014, when he was forced to take a break from touring and recording in 2015 for health reasons, but continued to oversee its production and continue plans for the "Chuck" album. To fulfill his desire to release the album, he enlisted the help of his close friend Joe Edwards, owner of Blueberry Hill, the famous club where Berry performed more than 200 times, and his family, and the album was finally completed.

ロックンロールの創始者かつレジェンドであるチャック・ベリーの約40年振りとなる最新作にして最後のアルバム。トム・モレロが参加した先行シングル「ビッグ・ボーイズ」、伝説の名曲「ジョニー・B.グッド」の続編でベリー家のギタリスト三世代がフィーチャーされている「レディー・B.グッド」をはじめチャックが最後に残した新録10曲を収録! 10の新曲のうち8曲はベリーが作詞・作曲、残り2曲は古いスタンダード・ソング等のカヴァー。プロデュースはベリー自身。収録曲の中には、起源が1980年代に遡るものもある。ツアーの合間の空き時間を使い、ベリーは何年もかけ、セントルイスの自宅スタジオでそれを練り上げてきた。年間を通じて本作に本格的に取り組んだのは、2014年のこと。2015年には健康上の理由から、ツアーおよびレコーディングの休止を余儀なくされたが、その後も制作を見守り、アルバム『チャック』の計画を続行。リリースしたいという願いを叶えるため、ベリーが200公演以上出演した有名クラブ、ブルーベリー・ヒルの経営者で親しい友人のジョー・エドワーズと、家族からの協力を仰ぎ、遂にこのアルバムが完成した。
