"A quiet flame born between the changing times and self-reflection".
Daoko's 5th album "Slash-&-Burn" is now on sale!
Daoko's long-awaited 5th album "Slash-&-Burn" will be released on the independent label "Tefu Tefu".
This is Daoko's first album in 4 years since her last album "anima", and 11 of the 12 songs on this album are Newly written and unreleased songs, written by Daoko herself and self-produced.
Daoko herself wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and self-produced the album. She asked artists she admires and respects to arrange the songs, and by completing them together, she was able to realize a diverse and unique musical expression that expands Daoko's spiritual world.
The result is a "quiet flame born between the changing times and self-reflection".
The cover illustration was created by up-and-coming illustrator Kennosuke Hara.
Slash-&-Burn" is a New step forward in Daoko's music, connecting her past with her future.
