[Machine Translation] After bidding farewell to their old friends, Lawrence and Holo set out from Kumersun, heading for Kuskof, where Nora lived. Their mission, commissioned by Ebe, was to deliver dogs to the Kingdom of Winfield, which was facing a shortage of sheepdogs. However, as they neared Kuskov, all signs of life vanished from the highway, and local lords gathered from all over the region, glaring fiercely at one another. Upon inquiring about the situation, they learned that the town had been divided into two factions over church reforms; furthermore, merchants had stayed away for fear of the conflict, plunging the town into a severe food shortage. Having become an assistant priest in such a town and utterly exasperated by the feuding lords, Nora proposes a smuggling" scheme to her two old friends .
