A luxurious photobook that gathers, as far as possible, color still photos of Ultraseven and the Capsule Kaiju from still photos shot on the production sets of "Ultraseven" remaining in Tsuburaya Productions' photo library! - Following the already-published "Ultraman Kaiju Still Photo Archives," this "Ultraseven" still-photo book is published ahead of the Ultraman series' 60th anniversary and the coming "Ultraseven" 60th-broadcast-anniversary year! - From still photos shot on the production sets of "Ultraseven" (1967-68) remaining in Tsuburaya Productions' photo library, it is compiled focusing on the theme of Ultraseven and the three Capsule Kaiju that help Seven - Windom, Miclas, and Agira. It records, as far as possible, solo cuts including all-direction photos for suit reference, and shots of fierce battles with kaiju. For episodes where cutouts from 35mm film material shot for compositing remain and are used as scene photos, those are also used. - This book is produced based on the same editorial policy as the Ultra-heroine photo collections and super-weapon photo collections previously issued by our company. The photos are presented as no-trimming with no partial cuts, with cleanup such as removal of dust and scratches done to the extent possible. For photos showing fading or discoloration, color adjustment is kept to the necessary minimum. Furthermore, no explanatory text is placed on the photos, making it a composition where each photo can be appreciated to every corner. Photos frequently published in past publications and the like are also presented in no-trimming for the first time (!?) as of this book's editing. For some photos of special-effects scenes, even cuts blurred because they were shot following the motion are recorded as powerful, precious photos capturing "that moment" at the time of shooting. - Differentiation from recent publications mainly featuring still photos: Color pages contain photos shot in color, and monochrome pages contain photos shot on monochrome film. For Ultraseven's solo cuts, even famous cuts long used in publications, it introduces, as far as possible, all kinds of their take variations. Cuts with low publication frequency are planned to be presented large. For photos shot on monochrome film, overlap with recently issued individual mook books is avoided as much as possible, but for Capsule Kaiju and the like with extremely few photos, overlapping photos may be recorded to cover their appearance episodes. For both color and monochrome, photos that were trimmed when published in recent still-photo-focused publications, or published with text overlaid, may also be recorded as duplicates, since the photos themselves are recorded uncut. Also, overlap with Ultraseven's solo cuts contained in "Ultraseven Space Super-Weapon Photo Collection" is planned to be avoided, with very few exceptions. *Some of the photos released as samples have been trimmed and partially cut. They are planned to be recorded uncut in this book. *Episodes planned for inclusion as stated in the announcement and the like may change during the editing process (subject to change). Please understand. (c) Tsuburaya Productions
