TEZUKA OSAMU Animation Art Archives [Set of Two Books]

[Machine Translation] Osamu Tezuka, known as the God of Manga," was also a great pioneer in the world of animation and a man who poured extraordinary passion into the craft of animation. Even within the highly specialized system of anime production, Tezuka wanted to create as much as possible with his own hands. Despite being extremely busy with his manga serializations, he made time for animation and personally drew storyboards, concept art, key animation, and other materials. This two-volume set is a massive collection totaling 800 pages, and since most of the included materials were created by Tezuka himself with the majority appearing in print for the first time it will serve as an indispensable resource for understanding the legacy Tezuka left on the history of Japanese animation.
