Mishima Yukio Yukoku to Jonen

[Machine Translation] On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yukio Mishima (born on January 14, 1925), the Mishima Institute, which presides over the "Gurokoku Imo" (Remembrance of Mishima), has put together a new theory on Mishima with all its efforts. It traces Mishima's roots, which have rarely been mentioned by past researchers, and locates Mishima's birthplace. It also includes a dialogue with Eiko Muramatsu, the actress who starred in Mishima's play, the relationship between the Self-Defense Forces and Mishima as told by the former chief of the Army Staff, and many other Mishima theories that have tended to be neglected in the past, based on records of past public lectures. The valuable symposium by Kanji Nishio, Seno Ijiri, Koichi Endo, and Hideaki Oketani, held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Yukio Mishima's death, is also included. The thoughts and actions of Yukio Mishima are conveyed to the present.
