I had eaten bahn mi in Japan and it was delicious, so I wanted to try authentic bahn mi, and many people told me that I looked good in an Asian atmosphere, so Vietnam was one of the countries I wanted to visit. We shot on location in Hoi An and Da Nang in central Vietnam. Hoi An has a nice atmosphere, including the old town, and I happened to stop by a cafe that was covered in plants, which was so nice that I felt like I was the main character in a cartoon. It rained a little at the end of the shoot, but it gave the film a different atmosphere, and we were blessed with good weather.
