Honoka Matsumoto First Photobook: negative pop

[Machine Translation] Who is Hoka Matsumoto, the up-and-coming actress who has been selected to play the heroine Suzu in the TBS Sunday Gekijo ("In a Corner of the World") starting July 15, 2018? This book will answer the question, "What is it about her that attracts so much attention? In this collection of photographs taken over the course of a year with photographer Yoshinaga Marutani, the strong personality of Hoka Matsumoto, who has an overwhelming presence even while standing in the midst of everyday scenery, is expressed. She says herself that she was a "dark girl" in her teens, but she has gained a "positive" attitude through the expressive medium of acting. Her strength is unshakable. It is precisely because she is a positive person who started from a dark place that she has such power. She is also an inspiration to various creators, including Kankuro Kudo. By discussing the appeal of Hoka Matsumoto from their point of view, we will also reveal her inner charm. This is the first photobook that serves as an introduction to Hoka Matsumoto, who is on the verge of her breakthrough! ( Comment by Hoka Matsumoto ) ( Negative Pop ) The year of shooting ( Negative Pop ) was a time for me to face my inner shadow, light, dirtiness, and something that cannot be expressed in words. Mr. Marutani, the photographer, who taught me the joy of photography when I was not very good at it, always gives me a free and pleasant time with a mixture of tension, fun, and excitement. She is irreplaceable to me. I would love for many people to see the photographs that have freed the unknown me inside of me.
