2009年2月にリリースされ、坂本龍一の「今年のベストディスク」を獲得。実験音楽の試みを根底とした趣きと、ピアノを中心としたこの上ない美しいメロディラインの数々と、その深い内側から響いてくるような繊細な魅力は、次第に着実に高い評価を博して行きました。数年経過した今でもなおロングセールスを記録するAmetsubによる2nd Album「The Nothings of The North」。国境を超えた世界中のアーティストや幅広いリスナーから大きな評価を得た後、2014年にはYELLOのボリス・ブランクがFACT magazineにて発表した「10 Favourite Electronic Records」にも同作品が選ばれ話題になりました。当時、Apparat、Johann JohannsonやJon Hopkinsらと共に同氏が出演したスペインのL.E.V.Festival を筆頭とする、日本の外からの招聘をも受ける起源となった作品でもあり、エレクトロニック・ミュージックにおけるひとつの金字塔とも言えるアルバム。Progressive FormやMille Plateauxを旋回し、nothings66からリイシューが決定。
