[Machine Translation] Ian Dury's solo album (1981), released after leaving the Blockheads and moving to Polydor. The partnership with Chaz Jankel, Ian Dury's one-man musical director up to "Do It Yourself," who co-wrote many hit songs with Dury, was revived, and the album was recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas with Sly & Robbie in the background. Recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas, the album has a pleasant tropical atmosphere. In addition to eight songs, including "Girls" by Sly Dunbar and "Spasticus (Autisticus)," which was commissioned as the theme song for the International Year of Disabled Persons but was rejected because of its extreme lyrics and even banned from the airwaves, there is a bonus track "Spasticus (Autisticus)" as a single version. In addition, a single version of "Spasticus (Autisticus)," a cover of "Rock 'n' Roll Shoes" (also known as a version by The Band and Bruce Springsteen), an unreleased song "Johnny Funk," and an interview conducted for the album release are included.

ブロックヘッズとの活動を離れ、ポリドールに移籍し発表したイアン・デューリーのソロ・アルバム (1981年作)。イアン・デューリーの片腕的存在で『ドゥ・イット・ユアセルフ』までのミュージカル・ディレクターで、デューリーとの共作で数々のヒット曲を送り出したチャズ・ジャンケルとのパートナーシップが復活し、バックにはスライ&ロビーを招きバハマのコンパス・ポイント・スタジオで録音された本作は、トロピカルな雰囲気が漂う快作。スライ・ダンバー作の「ガールズ」、国際障害者年のテーマ・ソングとして依頼されて作ったものの、歌詞の過激さから不採用となり放送禁止にもなった「スパスティカス (オーティスティカス)」など8曲に加え、ボーナス・トラックとして「スパスティカス (オーティスティカス)」のシングル・ヴァージョン、ザ・バンドやブルース・スプリングスティーンのヴァージョンでも知られる「ロックン・ロール・シューズ」のカヴァー、未発表曲「ジョニー・ファンク」、そしてアルバム発売に行われたインタヴューを収録。
