The Pretty Things

[Machine Translation] This is the memorable debut album released in 1965 by the Pretty Things, who are also regarded as the originators of garage/punk rock. The band was formed by Dick Taylor, who had formed the Rolling Stones with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Brian Jones, but left the group because they had three guitarists and no bassist, and he was advised to switch to bass. The band's sound was based on R&B like the Stones, but more solid and exciting, and their wild look with long hair and beards influenced David Bowie, the Clash, Aerosmith, the Libertines, and Kasabian. Bonus tracks include "Rosaline," "Big Boss Man," "Don't Bring Me Down," "Will Be Together," "I Can Never Say," and "Get Yourself Home," which were released before the album was released. 18 songs in total. Includes detailed bilingual English commentary.
