YMOが『BGM』『テクノデリック』という2枚の傑作アルバムを発表した1981年に行われた国内ツアー"WINTER LIVE 1981"の新宿コマ劇場を収録したLIVE映像作品(オリジナル発売: 1983年)。『BGM』『テクノデリック』の曲を中心に選曲され、アーティステックな舞台美術と共に中期YMOを象徴するものとなっている映像を今回初めてHD化。音声もリマスタリングを行い、より臨場感を味わえる内容となっている。さらにはYMOのMusic Videoも収録。一部の楽曲はオリジナルマスターテープからアップコンバートを行い収録される。
