This is the fourth album by Miho Teruya, who sang and wrote the Japanese version of the theme song for the movie "Hula Girls. The album consists of 95% of Miho Teruya's performances and songs, with her returning to her roots as a pianist, and adding her voice as a new experiment. The title track, "Hikari" was written in the hope that the limitations of the Corona disaster would be dispelled and that people would have bigger dreams and thoughts. The album includes her own original songs, cover songs that were saved by the Corona disaster, and "Rain" written by her friend, singer-songwriter Nobo, and composed by jazz pianist Harumi Nomoto. The single "Hawaii Aloha Featuring Tomoko Kitada" was distributed earlier and reached No. 22 in the World category of the iTunes Store.

コロナ禍から生まれた希望の光。いつかこのアルバムが光となって、あなたの未来を輝かせますように。映画「フラガール」の主題歌日本語バージョンの歌唱・作詞の照屋実穂の4作目のアルバム。原点に帰りピアノ弾き語りし、新たな試みとしてボイスを重ね、95%照屋実穂の演奏と歌で構成された。タイトル曲の「光」は、コロナ禍の制限を払拭し、夢や想いを大きく持って欲しいと希望を込め書き下ろした。収録内容は、自身のオリジナル曲、コロナ禍等に自身が救われたカバー曲の他、友人でもあるシンガーソングライターNobo作詞・ジャズピアニスト野本晴美作曲の「Rain」を収録。先行シングル配信された「ハワイアロハFeaturing北田朋子」はiTunes Storeワールド部門で22位を獲得した。
