This is the very first album by Santana. It did stand the time. The remastering does not differ much from the recent US releases. The remastering in mid-frequencies could have been better rather than louder.

I love having mini lp sleeves. The remastering is not so great though. You would be better off sticking with the U.S. Deluxe version. Both are remastered by the same person, but the Japanese remaster has been cranked up so much that audio software shows the signal to be squashed. Meaning, you are losing the dynamic range of the music because the remastering is too loud. Please stop remastering music this way. Louder does not equal better.
