[Machine Translation] Coulomb's Gate" was released by SME in 1997 for the PlayStation. The game's excellence, which cannot be described in words, is concentrated in the deep and rich worldview that spreads throughout the story and the overly mysterious inhabitants that appear in the game, and its unparalleled and unique method of expression has been loved by many fans for more than 15 years since its release. The soundtrack was composed by Kuniaki Yeshima, a genius who also composed the music for the TV drama "The Strange Story". As he says, "I wanted to use as much live sound as possible," the music is so unique, vivid, and realistic that you can hear the sounds of the characters' lives and even their breathing. The original CD released on April 21, 1997, is now hard to find.

1997年にSMEより発売された、プレイステーション用のゲームソフト「クーロンズ・ゲート」。言葉では表現できないこのゲームの素晴らしさは、敢えて言うなら、ストーリー全体に広がるディープで濃厚な世界観と、そこに登場する怪し過ぎる住人達に凝縮されており、他に類を見ない独特の表現手法で、発売より15年以上の歳月を経ても多くのファンに愛され続けている。 そのサウンドトラックを手掛けたのは、テレビドラマ「世にも奇妙な物語」の音楽も担当した鬼才「はい島邦明」。「極力生音を使いたかった」の言葉通り、登場人物の生活音、息遣いまで聞こえて来るような、独特で生々しくリアリティ溢れる音楽に仕上がっている。 なお1997年4月21日に発売のオリジナルCDは、現在入手困難となっており、今回は待望の復刻 !
