「My Favorite Soul」レーベル第一弾となる本作、A面はシャカゾンビのトラックメイカー、TSUTCHIEの20年前のソロアルバムより、ソウルクエリアンズな音像の隠れた名曲をCurtis Mayfield「Tripping Out」なリズムパターンの解釈でカバーしたもの。椎名純平ならではの「クワイエット・ストーム」でソフトな歌唱と、ペトロールズや東京事変の浮雲としても知られる長岡亮介の掛け合いでの歌唱が本作の独特の空気感を生んでいる。さらに原曲にはないタブゾンビのメロウなトランペットも加え、モダンなソウル曲に仕上がった。B面は30周年となるジャミロクワイのデビュー作「Emergency On Planet Earth」より3枚目のシングルカット曲をカバー。ジャム・セッション的なこの曲のPart1にあたる前半のパートを7インチ尺にストレートに切り取ったファンク・ラブソング。SWING-Oプレイの甘美なローズから始まり、ROOT SOULのブリブリな音色が印象的なベース、後半の歌とトランペットのフェイクまで忠実に再現した、誰でも腰が動くグルーヴィーでセクシーな録音。
