Tam Thi Phamは1990年生まれ、ドイツ、ハンブルク在住のベトナム人音楽家。ベトナムの伝統楽器である単弦のダン・バウ (dan bau)奏者であり、ダン・バウを使った即興演奏や作曲活動をおこなっている。Tam Thi Phamは2023年12月に来日した機会をとらえ、12月11日に東京、Ftarriで、櫻澤シーナ有紀子 (コントラバス)、武井南 (パーカッション)、徳永将豪 (アルト・サックス)の3人の日本人演奏家と共演した。本CDには、この時の4人による演奏、それぞれ約30分の2セットを収録している。Tam Thi Phamはファースト・セットでダン・バウを、セカンド・セットではエレクトロニクスを使用し、どちらのセットでも溌剌として創造性に富んだ演奏を披露。彼女の存在に鼓舞された櫻澤、武井、徳永の3人も好演で応え、内容すばらしい作品となった。
