[Machine Translation] From electronic music with a strong conceptual power, to free improvisation that emits heat, to modern techno in pursuit, Entr'acte is a label unparalleled in the world. This series brings the label's works to Japan. The twelfth installment in this series is UK techno mutant Dale Cornish's latest mode, "Aqal", released in 2017! The genius, who also collaborates with electro-acoustic artist Phil Julian and handles everything from sound art to contemporary dance, has undergone a further transformation with this new album. Every track is a unique sonic manipulation, composing dislocated minimalist patterns after Mark Fell: deviant click techno with pulses, noises and kicks, skeletal/ghostly minimal techno, music concrete rhythms and ambiences, and so on. This is an advanced and radical realization of the "exploration of rhythm, space, silence, and pulse" pursued in "Glacial" (E141/2012), "Xeric" (E171/2014), and "Ulex" (E190/2015).
