It's a great concert, but I dare say that if you are going to buy your first L'Arc DVD, go for the 1999 GRAND CROSS CONCLUSION. There is no live like that one. This one is ok, but only if your a L'Arc fan. Great songs, but if you are going to try something new with this, only a few songs are as great as the oldies. Try 1999 GRAND CROSS CONCLUSION or Shibuya 7 Days. That is a 100%-fun buy. You will enjoy them.

Yeah, I agree with the previous reviewer about Hyde's vocal performance b/c he sounds better in this concert than the ones in Shibuya or the Smile Tour. I loved how Hyde dressed up in his costumes and how the transition of the songs flowed smoothly with the theme. A very beautiful concert indeed. Even if you didn't like the new songs in the 'Awake' album, you should buy this DVD just to see Hyde dressed up as the Pope on his golden throne. Hahahaha..J/K Nah, it was just a great concert overall!

a concert that is pretty much different than other laruku concerts before. with specific theme such as peace, the stage, dancers, and songs seems to fit the theme. great performance by all of them especially hyde's vocal which sounds better than shibuya and smile tour.

Another great live dvd from L'arc-en-ciel. Awake tour must hav been one of the most extravagant tours that l'arc has embarked on. the visuals of the stage are breath-taking. and the dancers and actors they had during the live enhances the mood. the members were all out to deliver their best. but one of the weakness of this dvd was the sound system. u can hear scratchy and squeeky sounds at some parts. but if you are a fan of L'arc, this is a dvd u MUST get. the live features the new songs on their AWAKE album. this dvd is worth getting just for the sake of the visuals and the effort that was put in to make the live different than anything you've seen from L'arc-en-ciel.
