This Tour is truly the best!!! It's my FAVVVV Tour so far of L"arc. Hyde's voice is rather weak here and he looked unwell (it pains me to see him like this) But it's still awesome, and Hyde tried his best as always. I can never be disapointed in L'Arc.

Not so good laruku live DVD. The perf itself is good.... Esp since the middle to the end. The first songs are ... Dunno but the guy's don't move and it's a bit boring. And SS uniform don't suit hyde at ALL ! -___-" what a stupid idea ( again ! ) anyway, this is a good dvd :) A must have for all laruku fans.

It's a great concert, but I dare say that if you are going to buy your first L'Arc DVD, go for the 1999 GRAND CROSS CONCLUSION. There is no live like that one. This one is ok, but only if your a L'Arc fan. Great songs, but if you are going to try something new with this, only a few songs are as great as the oldies. Try 1999 GRAND CROSS CONCLUSION or Shibuya 7 Days. That is a 100%-fun buy. You will enjoy them.

Un gran concierto para un gran grupo. Aunque Hyde sale mas rosquete que de costumbre, el video es sensacional, Ken se luce magnificamente con la gitarra y bueno, lo recomiendo junto con el Conclusion como los mejores conciertos de L'arc. El smile tour tambien es bueno, excepto por algunas canciones del album smile, el resto esta bien.

This DVD is absolutely marvellous. I pre-ordered it back in December of 2005, and I must have watched it about six or seven times since then. Everything about the DVD is complete perfection. Throughout the course of about two hours, the band performs no less than 20 songs; not only songs from AWAKE, but also from albums dating further back in their amazing repertoire. What I find the most attractive about this DVD, is the fact that all songs are performed with such incredible joy; something that I have to say is quite rare amongst bands that have been around for more than a decade. On the top of that, the DVD displays four greatly skilled musicians flawlessly performing in front of an audience that, despite its immense size, never seems to get enough! Aside from the show itself, the DVD demonstrates excellent quality in both image (16:9) and audio (DD5.1). It all adds up to a must-buy for all fans of either L'Arc~en~Ciel, or fans of J-rock in general.

One of J-rocks oldest surviving bands, L`arc is definitely one of the best things around to listen to if you've havent already. This DVD absolutely rocks and all the songs are great, starting with the usual upbeat rock followed by the mellower sogns like ophelia.

I've been a long time fan of L'Arc~en~Ciel. I must say that this is the first live DVD since Grand Cross Conclusion to blow me away. Hyde's vocals/singing was superior. Ken, Tetsu, and Yukihiro played very well as usual. On top of it all, the visuals were absolutely amazing. They left a lasting impression especially with the message of "love and peace". If there is any live you should see, this is definitely one of them.

Watching L'arc en Ciel music videos is great but the live shows are the best. They are so great live and I think this dvd is so awesome!

This concert is amazing. Unlike their other concerts, this one has a more "serious" approach if you will. The theme revolves around "peace". Like others before have said, the visuals are amazing and do an excellent job of conveying the message being said. All of the songs are performed beautifully and with a lot of emotion. This truly is a must have DVD.

I couldn't resist buying this, and I'm glad! I adore this DVD. hyde's voice is superb throughout most of the songs, ken's guitar is simply stunning, yukihiro's mini-solo-thing is awesome and tetsu's bass is (as always) mind-blowing. As other reviewers said, the stage visuals are awesome, and there's a strong theme of peace. I have to commend the camera people, because this is one of the easiest music DVDs to watch. You're not left wishing you could see more of the musicians actually playing. There is a little feedback during Jojoushi and Ophelia but it's nothing major. This has to be one of my favourite music DVDs. Highly recommended!!

Ok, this concert it's something new, I think something unseen XD well for me...imagine Hyde as a pope~ *wtfruits* o.o!!It was high!! yeah~

Yeah, I agree with the previous reviewer about Hyde's vocal performance b/c he sounds better in this concert than the ones in Shibuya or the Smile Tour. I loved how Hyde dressed up in his costumes and how the transition of the songs flowed smoothly with the theme. A very beautiful concert indeed. Even if you didn't like the new songs in the 'Awake' album, you should buy this DVD just to see Hyde dressed up as the Pope on his golden throne. Hahahaha..J/K Nah, it was just a great concert overall!

a concert that is pretty much different than other laruku concerts before. with specific theme such as peace, the stage, dancers, and songs seems to fit the theme. great performance by all of them especially hyde's vocal which sounds better than shibuya and smile tour.

Another great live dvd from L'arc-en-ciel. Awake tour must hav been one of the most extravagant tours that l'arc has embarked on. the visuals of the stage are breath-taking. and the dancers and actors they had during the live enhances the mood. the members were all out to deliver their best. but one of the weakness of this dvd was the sound system. u can hear scratchy and squeeky sounds at some parts. but if you are a fan of L'arc, this is a dvd u MUST get. the live features the new songs on their AWAKE album. this dvd is worth getting just for the sake of the visuals and the effort that was put in to make the live different than anything you've seen from L'arc-en-ciel.
