サックス奏者・矢野沙織とピアニスト丈青 (SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS)によるスペシャル・ユニット"Besties our sounds."が始動。デビュー作をCD/LPの2形態でリリース。2024年の初共演以来、共鳴し合う矢野沙織と丈青の二人が"音楽的な美"を体現するために制作された今作は、ベーシスト秋田ゴールドマン (SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS)、ドラマー小名坂誠哉 (PLAYERS x PRAYERS)らが参加。今回、丈青が聴き惚れ込んだ1903年製ヴィンテージ・スタインウェイ (Model C)を特別に運び入れ、コンサートホールでの録音が実現したことも聴きどころの一つ。スタインウェイ黄金期の名器が丈青のピアニズムによって奏でられる音色は絶品。矢野沙織、丈青らが現代ジャズに放つ2026年衝撃の一枚にご期待いただきたい。
